Team Picture
The
Chicagoland Zephyrs Athletic Association is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), youth-oriented,
developmental track and field program located in Maywood, Illinois. Youth
that are members of the Zephyrs Track Club come from surrounding communities
and Chicago.
The Zephyrs Track Club
provides recreational opportunities for boys and girls, ages 4 –18, who are
interested in running competitively and who want to improve their level of
conditioning for other sports. During the summer of 2009 our membership grew to
140 youths.
The
goal for the Zephyrs Track Club is to give youths experience and exposure to track and field
events. We encourage self confidence, academic excellence, good
sportsmanship, and personal responsibility.
The club
participates in age group competition in USA Track and Field (USATF)
local, state, regional, and national
competitions.
